Australia is increasingly prioritising "ageing-in-place," supporting older adults to live at home longer, accessing home care, rather than moving into residential aged care. Engaging older adults living in residential aged care in research is a matter of visiting a single site (or two). But home care research doesn’t just take place down the hall - it is scattered across postcodes and private homes. How do we meaningfully engage home care recipients in research? In this webinar you will hear from a home care provider, a researcher, and a consumer with lived experience. Together, they will unpack what it takes to build relationships, foster trust, and create research environments where home care recipients are engaged to participate.
